Flying Fish develops sustainable solutions for water transport. With expertise in hydrofoils and electric drive lines, Flying Fish designs the fast zero-emission ships of the future. Flying Fish also supports the well-known Watertaxi Rotterdam in making its fleet more sustainable and automating its fleet management. This is done with a complete Watertaxi Operations System.
Flying Fish consists of a team of more than twelve young professionals with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, computer science and mathematics. The team is largely made up of alumni of TU Delft and the TU Delft Solar Boat Team.
Thanks to a strong collaboration with Buccaneer Delft, Flying Fish is able to establish a broad connection with the maritime and offshore sector. Flying Fish also has active collaboration with other Buccaneers, such as zepp.solutions. In this way the Buccaneers are combining their strengths for a more sustainable sector!
The great location of Buccaneer Delft in the old city of Delft is filled with history. It feels like an honour to have an office in this beautiful building and work in such a positive atmosphere.
