Amphibious Energy Installs Onshore EnergyPod for ZEGen Project in Côte D’Ivoire
We are thrilled to announce that Buccaneer Delft’s community member, Amphibious Energy, has successfully installed an onshore variant of its innovative EnergyPod in Côte D’Ivoire. This installation is part of the larger Project Zephattan under the ZEGen initiative. The successful deployment of the EnergyPod marks a key step toward promoting sustainable energy solutions for off-grid communities in developing countries.
The EnergyPod; a versatile and sustainable replacement for polluting diesel generators
This upgraded Onshore EnergyPod boasts an adaptable design, featuring extendable solar panel walls on three sides, along with its signature wind turbine and smart energy storage system. This flexibility allows the solar array footprint to be adjusted to suit various environments, making it highly efficient for off-grid energy solutions around the world.
ZEGen Project; making renewable energy available around the world
The ZEGen Project, led by Aegis Energy and supported by The Carbon Trust, Innovate UK, the IKEA Foundation, and UK aid through the UK Government’s Ayrton Fund, is focused on replacing fossil-fuel generators with renewable energy alternatives in countries that rely heavily on non-renewable energy sources. The deployment of this new Onshore EnergyPod in Côte D’Ivoire marks a key step toward sustainable energy solutions for off-grid communities in developing regions.
