Floating Offshore Wind & Hydrogen: The Curaçao Case
Curaçao has the potential to be a frontrunner in the energy transition. With deep coastal waters, steady trade winds, and access to major shipping routes, the island offers ideal conditions to pioneer floating offshore wind — unlocking new opportunities for clean power generation and hydrogen production.
The Netherlands and Curaçao have therefore joined forces to unlock this potential for the benefit of both countries. We are pleased to share with you the outcome of important studies done by both Dutch and German companies during our next Energy Talks & Drinks on December 4th at Buccaneer Delft.
