- Huub Lavooij will present Delta21, an ambitious project that utilizes the natural power of the sea. It combines flood protection, sustainable energy generation, and ecological restoration in groundbreaking infrastructure
- Peter Scheijgrond will introduce Offshore For Sure, a project demonstrating the most promising innovations in the areas of tidal, wave, and offshore solar energy, combined with an innovative storage solution developed by Buccaneer FLASC.

Speakers
Huub Lavooij owner of Delta21
Huub’s experience in the construction industry spans over 40 years, with a strong international background. After completing his studies at HTS Vlissingen and TU Delft, where he specialized in coastal engineering, he gained experience at Deltares, Volker Stevin (later Volker Wessels), Royal Haskoning DHV, and eventually moved to Rijkswaterstaat until 2014. In 2016 he started working on the Delta21 project together with Leen Berke.
Peter Scheijgrond, CEO Bluespring – lead partner for Offshore For Sure partnership
With Bluesping, Peter has a track record of over 25 years in initiating, financing, and managing projects. He helps technology developers, research institutes and governments, to get their marine renewable energy projects financed and implemented. Since 2021 Peter has also been the Chairman of the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA).
