Open Monuments Day Delft 2019

In Newsby Benine van Gilse

Each year during the second weekend of September, many monuments are opening their doors for the public. The Buccaneer Delft and restaurant Kruydt will also take a part in the Open Monuments Day!

On 14 September (Saturday) we will open our doors at 10 a.m. and keep them open until 5 p.m. During this time you will have the chance to listen to Poetry Girl or Delft Blue BigBand. After some music there will be some story telling from Joan Edwards about the Delft Thunderclap which occured in 1654.

Other than that, you will also have the chance to take a closer look at the old Paardenmarkt’s military buildings.
