COVID-19 measures at Buccaneer Delft

As announced by the Dutch government on May 6, we’re allowed to host events and meetings again following certain measures.
Below an overview of the COVID-19 measures when visiting Buccaneer Delft.

 

General measures

Stay at home if you have a cold, a cough, a sore throat or a fever. Avoid contact with others (social distancing). Only call your doctor if your symptoms worsen.

Keep 1,5 meters distance from others.

Don’t shake hands.

Wash your hands for 20 seconds with water and soap, dry your hands thoroughly.

Cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow.

Use paper handkerchiefs to blow your nose and then throw it away. Then wash your hands.

 

Lounge areas, stairs and hallways

Numerous dispensers with desinfecting hand gel and hand wipes can be found throughout the entire venue.

Traffic on the stairs: UP goes FIRST.

Traffic in the hallway: when leaving the office, make room for passengers in the hallway and then leave the office.

One-way traffic is indicated on the floor where necessary.

No more than 8 people at the same time are allowed in the lounge areas.

Event and meeting spaces

All catering will be prepacked and served in disposables. Buffets are not possible. The pantry is only available for users of the James Watt room.

All event and meeting spaces have a maximum number of people that are allowed being in the room at the same time (including staff):

  • Breakout room: 6 people
  • Presentation room and Building D: 16 people (plus 1 speaker)
  • James Watt: 4 people
  • Isaac Newton: 3 people
  • Thomas Edison: 8 people (plus 1 speaker)
  • Boardroom: 10 people

James Watt and Isaac Newton are accessible via the side entrance positioned at the right side of the building. Thomas Edison is accessible via the entrance of Kruydt.
